💬 Dirty Talk for Beginners

📝 Blog & Guides · 7 min read

Dirty talk has a reputation problem. We picture it as either a bad line from a film or something only confident people do. In reality it is a skill, like any other kind of conversation, and the couples who are good at it were once terrible at it too. The difference is that they practised.

Here is the whole secret: dirty talk is not about saying the perfect thing. It is about saying the true thing out loud — what you want, what you are feeling, what you are about to do.

Start where you are

You do not begin with a monologue. You begin with one sentence. The easiest entry point is describing something that is already happening, because you cannot get the facts wrong.

  • "I love the way you feel right now."
  • "Don't stop — keep doing exactly that."
  • "You have no idea how long I have been thinking about this."
  • "Look at me."
  • "Come here."

Notice that none of these are crude. Crude is not the goal. Specific is the goal. "You feel amazing" beats "you're so sexy" because the second one could be said to anyone.

40 lines, from gentle to bold

Use these as scaffolding, not a script. Change a word here and there until they sound like you.

Sweet and warm

  1. "I have been waiting for this all day."
  2. "You are the best part of my day."
  3. "I love the noise you just made."
  4. "Stay right there, I'll come to you."
  5. "I want you close tonight."
  6. "Tell me what you want and it's yours."
  7. "You make it very hard to behave."
  8. "I missed this — I missed you."

Playful

  1. "You have been teasing me all day. I noticed."
  2. "I hope you didn't have plans, because I do."
  3. "Careful — you started this."
  4. "You are getting a reputation, and I like it."
  5. "That look is going to cost you."
  6. "I am keeping score, and you are winning."
  7. "Guess what I am thinking about right now. Hint: it's you."
  8. "We are not leaving this room for a while."

Confident and direct

  1. "Take your time. I'm not going anywhere."
  2. "I want you, and I am not being subtle about it."
  3. "Come here and let me show you."
  4. "Tonight is about you."
  5. "I have one rule: don't stop."
  6. "You know what I want. Say it."
  7. "Closer. Keep going. Don't think."
  8. "I have been good all day. I'm done being good."

Bold

  1. "I want you in the next five minutes."
  2. "Tell me what you want me to do to you."
  3. "I am going to make you say my name."
  4. "You have five seconds before I take over."
  5. "Do exactly what I say."
  6. "I want to hear you."
  7. "No more thinking. Just this."
  8. "You're mine tonight."

Afterwards

  1. "That was exactly what I needed."
  2. "You are unreal."
  3. "Please tell me we are doing that again."
  4. "I am not moving for at least ten minutes."
  5. "Tell me one thing you liked."
  6. "You looked so good I forgot my own name."
  7. "I love being the reason you make that face."
  8. "Same time tomorrow?"

How to make it work in real life

Delivery matters more than vocabulary. Three rules cover most of it:

  • Say it as a fact, not a question. A nervous question invites a nervous answer. A confident sentence creates a mood.
  • Match the moment. A bold line during a quiet moment lands badly. Read the room and start where the room is.
  • Let silence work for you. You do not have to narrate the whole thing. A single sentence, said close to the ear, then quiet, is far more powerful than constant talk.

What to do when you feel ridiculous

You probably will, the first few times. Everyone does. The fix is to laugh about it and keep going — a shared laugh raises the temperature rather than lowering it.

If you freeze, fall back on the one thing you cannot get wrong: describe what you are doing and how it feels. That is dirty talk. Everything else is decoration.

Agree on the rules first

Bold talk only works when both people feel safe. Before you get adventurous, agree on a stop word and agree that either of you can say "not that one" without it being a rejection. A boundaries conversation takes five minutes and buys you a lot of freedom.
